The West High School Foundation is excited about this year’s effort to raise funds to benefit WHS – our teachers, our school and our students. The primary focus of the West High School Foundation campaign consists of the following activities: (a) encourage staff development and retention, (b) support academic excellence, (c) expand technology resources, and (d) improve WHS facilities. As a matter of fact, the money we raise helps WHS maintain and enhance the standards of excellence that we expect from our school.

This year, our fundraising efforts are focused on two key areas:

Updating the mini auditorium and converting it into a 21st century state-of-the-art lecture hall. You can read about this exciting project at the link provided. Lecture Hall Information

Retaining, and rewarding our great teachers. The Foundation provides grants to teachers who ask for and need equipment in the classrooms—from Smart Boards and computers to calculators and books.

There are a variety of ways to give to West High School. The Foundation has done incredible things in the past (just ask a teacher, visit a classroom or see the fence!) We depend on parents like you – EVERYONE – to participate. No gift is too small or too large! Your gifts go directly to improving what happens in the classroom. Our Phone-a-thon will be this fall, but we are happy to accept your donation any time. You can make a gift any time during the year and can do it easily online – click here.

We need your financial support to meet the needs of the school that make West the best.
